Happy 3rd Birthday Grayson!

I want to wish a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my Little St. Patricks Day Boy!

I cannot believe he is 3 years old today! Holy goodness how time flown by!

For the past 2 birthdays we have had a big birthday bash out in TX at my parents house but because we have been in the middle of moving this year, my parents came up to MA to celebrate his birthday with us :)

We had a little St. Patricks Day cake made for him and put all of his presents out .... "You don't wrap his presents?" I am sure some of you are asking as I get asked that a lot .... No... we don't.... Grayson does not care to open presents and we lose his attention very quickly when it comes to presents on Christmas and Birthdays so we just have leave them unwrapped so we can quickly get his attention and he can immediately start playing :)

This year we got him some magnetic building tiles which he LOVES. I learned this as at his old school in NC they had them and as soon as I would drop him off he would immediately go looking for the tiles...so we bought him some of his own. We also bought him some actual wooden building blocks, an table top easel, a couple toy cars and a few other learning types of games for him to play with.

He has already been playing away with his toys and is super excited to see the tiles :)

I still can't believe he is 3 years old...that means next year he will be 4?!? What??!!

A lot has happened in our little boys life over the past 3 years...we have had a lot of struggles but also a lot of progress and infinite amounts of exciting moments!

No matter what comes of Grayson's future I can honestly say we have been truly blessed to be a part of his life because he has taught us so much in such a short period of time :)

Happy Birthday Sweet Boy! We love you so so much!

"On Top!"

Oooooh Grayson.....

So Grayson knows the term "on top" from his OT session...usually in reference to stacking but occasionally he will put objects "on top" of just about anything.

I guess this one could be my fault as that little number 2 is a foam bath toy and lately I have been saying "on top" and putting it on top of his head and then he proceeds to put it on top of his head or my head when I say it again...so today he kept putting it on his head just on his own and when I said "on top" he walked over to  Karat and put it on top of his head :p

Poor Karat...but such a good boy, he waited there for quite some time with that number 2 on top of his head before he decided he was done participating in Grayson's shenanigans.

The photo reminds me of teaching proper posture when you have to walk with a book on your head :p

Oh so silly but still... it's these little silly things that show he skills!

Chomp Chomp Chomp

Our little man has his little ways about certain things.. One of them being his graham crackers.

Lately...he has been taking a square, turns in around to look at all four sides and then flips it over to look at front and back and then takes a small bite out of the left corner and puts it down and starts again with a new graham cracker.

I know I know, these little "quirks" are not the best behaviors but I don't care...I am not SN and I have my weird way of eating things as well....I have to eat my M&Ms in sets of 2...and the 2 have to be different colors and my little Welches Fruit Snacks also have to be eaten in 2's and I prefer if each little "fruit" is different in my sets of 2s... When I was little I always had to eat a piece of tortilla bread as if I was making a snow flake out of it...etc...I could go on and on.... but really after reading that paragraph...who is the "weird" one... me or Grayson? ....I vote me :p

He can eat his graham crackers and any food however he so chooses just as long as he is eating!
