5:45am - Grayson has added to his morning routine...

Vacuum :p

He loves that it lights up and has two buttons on opposite sides of the lighted area that determine the suction power but also make the light grow brighter or dimmer.

So naturally, for him to find enjoyment, the vacuum must be on, otherwise the light does not come on and without the light...whats the point? :p

Today Grayson has decided to let it be known that he has grown much more confident when it comes to climbing.

Several months ago I posted a video of Grayson climbi

ng up on the couch in the temporary house out in Marblehead. He needed a lot of motivation to do so...i.e., putting the iPad on the very top of the couch and he  could give his all to get up and get it. We were SO excited for this and it definitely was the start of his climbing abilities. 

In the living room, and he has a little arm chair that I place right in front of the coffee table, well he decided to climb onto the chair and up onto the coffee table so he could play with a musical barn that was sitting in the middle of the coffee table :p All while still holding on to the iPad of course, but he didn't need the iPad as his motivation. He just knew he wanted to play with the musical barn and figured out a way to do so :)

Later in the day I took him upstairs and closed the baby gate so he could wander around freely while I was putting laundry away and as I walking down the hall to go into his room I spotted him:

Yep, just lounging on the guest bed playing with his iPad and his baby monitor :p

I know these are not the crazy climbing stories you would typically hear of a 3 year old, but I am so so happy and so so proud :)

Who Says a Wagon Can't be a Chair?

What is a chair, really?

A place to sit right?

Well...Grayson's new favorite place to sit is in a little mini-wagon that usually has outdoor/beach toys in it :p

I am not 100% sure how this came about... I mean I know at school they have an actual wagon they pull him around in outside sometimes, so maybe it bears resemblance? Anyway, he took my hand, took me into the 3 season room and placed my hand onto the wagon and then proceeded to try to sit in it himself...this did not work out so well for him as the backend of the wagon kept trying to come off the ground because of the weight distribution when he was originally trying to sit down.

I decided to give him some help and picked him up and placed him in the "wagon-chair". He loved it.

Since this has been going on for a couple of days now I figured I would post a couple of pictures:)

Tonight I brought it into the living room... with him running after me mind you :) and as soon as I set it down, he tried again, so I decided to give him some help and place him in it. He remained here for quite a while. He drank his before bed time milk and just hung out.

Little Einstein Shoes!!

Just a quick little post but I HAD to show off Grayson's new shoes!

My cousin Courtney hand painted them. She is so so talented. I love these little shoes so much!
