Just a little update on Graysons hearing:
Grayson had his first Audiology appointment today since he got his hearing aids.
They did a hearing screen with the hearing aids in and compared that screen to the results from the previous screen without hearing aids. And the results: MUCH better than without hearing aids :) Which means they are working very well and the Audiologist said that as he continues to wear them the results should get better each time especially as he starts to recognize certain noises.
He has been such a good baby when it comes to the hearing aids :) He doesnt try to pull them out, he lets me put them right in where as the 1st few days of having them he would fight me the whole way through and now he just lets me do it without any problems.
The hearing aids are also not very noticeable at all. If you are looking at him by standing or sitting in front of him, you cannot see that he is wearing them at all, and unless you are really looking at him you cant really tell he is wearing them from any other angle either which is a plus as well.
We will be going back in March for another screen and on that day will do both with and without the hearing aids to do another comparison. I will keep you updated!
